Job summary

Brewpoint in Bedford is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to keep the brewery operating safely, efficiently and reliably. You’ll work with Brewing, Cellaring, Packaging and Distribution teams, driving improvements and supporting production across rotating shifts.

Based in Bedford, the role requires a three-week rotating shift pattern (6am–10pm) to cover both production shifts. You'll be involved in planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineering experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills with a proactive approach.
• Engineering qualification or completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience working with maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of utilities such as steam, compressed air, refrigeration, water treatment or effluent systems.
• Positive, flexible approach and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Flexibility to support production activities, breakdowns, projects and seasonal demand.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational support during peak production periods when required.

This isn't a traditional engineering role. You'll work closely with our Brewing, Cellaring, Packaging and Distribution teams, playing a key part in improving equipment performance, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the brewery. You'll also have the opportunity to get hands‑on with production operations when required, making a real impact on the success of the business.

Based in BEDFORD, this role requires a rotating three-week shift pattern between 6am-10pm to provide maintenance and process support across both production shifts:
