You will be responsible for:

As a Maintenance Technician, your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:

1. Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinate repairs seamlessly.
2. Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
3. Sustain High Energy Levels: Juggle tasks while maintaining efficiency.
4. Assist the Management Team: Keep our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
5. Minimize Customer Disruption: Coordinate repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
• Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Working closely with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
• General day-to-day store and property maintenance.
• Using mobile devices (phone and tablet) to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
• Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude, and taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
• Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
• Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

You will need:

As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.

Operational Skills:

• ONC or equivalent
• Full driving license
• Health & Safety awareness
• Communication & Collaboration
• Office 365 knowledge
• Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.
