Job summary

Argent Energy is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader in the UK to drive planned and preventive maintenance across sites. You will lead and develop a team, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with planners, reliability engineers, and procurement to deliver on PM schedules.

The role runs Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm with overtime during shutdowns, and a focus on cost-saving improvements and efficient stores management. Experience in energy sectors is valued.

Qualifications

• Trade-based apprenticeship is essential.
• Desirable HNC Mech Eng qualification.
• Safety qualification such as IOSH/NEBOSH is required.
• Mechanical maintenance exp. in Oil/Gas/Chemical industries is essential.
• COMAH site experience is desirable.
• Experience leading teams of contractors and critical spares management.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned, corrective and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Monitor CMS to close tasks with work history.
• Oversee stores for maintenance inventory including tools and parts.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the team with performance management.
• Promote SHE culture and safety practices.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage contractors, ensuring safety and quality standards.
