Job summary

TE Connectivity Swindon site is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, set priorities, and drive safety, health and 5S across all equipment and the working environment.

The role emphasizes implementing total productive maintenance, preventive maintenance planning, root cause analysis, and budget stewardship to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience in maintenance management and leading maintenance teams.
• Strong preventive maintenance and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain total productive maintenance, monitor work orders and preventive maintenance logs.
• Schedule and execute preventive and condition-based maintenance to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain manufacturing assets, manage parts inventory, monitor purchase orders, and oversee the department budget.

Job Overview

Performs maintenance management by supervising the maintenance team, establishes priorities in maintenance schedules, and ensures Safety, Health & 5S of all the equipment and working Environment.

Job Requirements

• Implementing and sustaining total productive maintenance, monitoring all work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, repair logs, and related documents.
• Scheduling and executing preventive and condition base maintenance targeting to achieve maximum availability of equipment and zero production downtime.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues, conducting root cause analysis for equipment downtime, and implementing preventive actions.
• Maintaining manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, and managing the department budget.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
