Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for a market-leading FMCG manufacturer near Kettering. The role offers a salary of 55,000-57,000 plus overtime, with training and career progression in a supportive culture.

You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate engineering activities, and ensure production machinery runs efficiently. The position features a 4 on 4 off days/nights shift pattern and a strong commitment to developing its people.

Qualifications

• Experience as Maintenance Engineer or established Team Leader in manufacturing.
• Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance and fault-finding within a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience or readiness to step up to management.
• Proactive, supportive, and focused on improving engineering performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities across a modern manufacturing facility.
• Prioritise planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers on the shop floor.
• Support fault-finding to maintain production efficiency.

You will play an important role in supporting the maintenance function, helping to coordinate engineering activities, resolve technical issues and ensure production machinery operates efficiently. The Role:

• Supporting and coordinating maintenance activities across a modern manufacturing facility.
• Helping to prioritise planned and reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime.
• Providing technical support and guidance to engineers on the shop floor.
• Supporting fault-finding and problem-solving to maintain production efficiency.
• Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering days and nights.
• Earning 55,000- 57,000 plus overtime, with excellent training and career development opportunities.

The Person:

• An experienced Maintenance Engineer or established Maintenance Team Leader.
• A strong engineering background, ideally with an apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance and fault-finding within a manufacturing environment.
• Someone with leadership experience or the ambition to step up and take on greater responsibility.
• A proactive individual who enjoys supporting colleagues, solving problems and improving engineering performance.
• Comfortable working a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.
