They are continually innovating, which has contributed to their growth and current expansion due to a full order book. They are seeking a senior maintenance team leader to join their team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide professional engineering and maintenance support through appropriate expertise, knowledge, and experience. Manage and supervise the KG Machine Shop, PdM activities, Maintenance Planning Department, coordinate training, and monitor insurance compliance.
• Act as a deputy and stand-in for the Maintenance Manager when required.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Team Leader

• Focus on developing the Maintenance Planning Department and improving the efficiency of the Machine Shop.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance Management to generate KPIs to track department performance and focus action plans accordingly.
• Manage the Machine Shop and Planning Department.
• Ensure KG complies with all obligations (e.g., lifting tackle & crane inspections, LEV inspections, receiver inspections).
• Maintain an accurate Planned Maintenance schedule aligned with business needs.
• Assist with shutdown planning.

Experience Required

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience or strong interest in working within a manufacturing/production environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of liaising at all levels.
• Technical knowledge in heavy engineering and fast-paced production environments.
