Job summary

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies UK Limited is seeking an experienced maintenance lead to manage a small, multi-disciplinary team at our Billingham site. You will supervise safety, quality and engineering standards, coordinate breakdowns, and ensure cGMP compliance and accurate CMMS/SAP records throughout the plant.

You will champion best practices, drive training, and act as a key conduit in daily maintenance triage meetings, with hands-on fault diagnosis and advanced servicing to manufacturer

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Instrument, or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Strong experience in a cGMP or similarly regulated environment.
• Ability to work independently and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead and line-manage a small multidisciplinary maintenance team (6–10 techs).
• Oversee safety, quality, and engineering best practice through toolbox talks and audits.
• Coordinate breakdowns and injected work; act as key contact in maintenance triage meetings.
• Perform advanced fault diagnosis and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Own the Permit to Work process and manage isolations and handovers.
• Ensure cGMP and CMMS/SAP records are complete and audit-ready.
