Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK, Ketton Cement Works, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) to lead a team of Mechanical Craftsmen, drive safety excellence and deliver reliable, efficient maintenance in a heavy industrial setting.

You will plan and coordinate maintenance activities, use SAP-PM, identify improvements, and mentor engineers while maintaining records and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising mechanical maintenance teams within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices and safe systems of work.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety excellence and ensure maintenance activities are planned and executed safely.
• Coach, mentor and coordinate a team of Mechanical Craftsmen.
• Deliver and coordinate the Mechanical Maintenance Plan; supervise day-to-day work.
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement; use RCFA, FMEA and other methods.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and equipment records.
