Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the night shift on a well-run plant in the UK. You will ensure PMs are completed on schedule and respond to breakdowns, drawing on experience in manufacturing, process or production environments.

You should have proven maintenance experience at a supervisory or lead level, and hold City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical, with apprentice training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience undertaking planned and reactive maintenance in plant/equipment.
• Supervisory or lead maintenance exposure including managing PM activity and coordinating contractors.
• Apprentice-trained with City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift maintenance team and ensure PMs are carried out to schedule.
• Manage breakdowns and support plant/equipment in a manufacturing/production environment.

Duties of a Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be required to lead the night shift maintenance team ensuring that PM’s are undertaken to schedule whilst also managing breakdown situations, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a manufacturing, process or production environment.

Requirements of a Maintenance Supervisor

• You must have proven experience in undertaking planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment.
• And either currently hold a supervisory post or hold a lead maintenance role where you have had some exposure to managing PM activity, issuing permits, organising contractors and mentoring apprentices.
• Allied to holding either City & Guilds or NVQ accreditation within an Electrical or Mechanical discipline and be apprentice trained.

The Maintenance Supervisor role is commutable from Alvechurch, Bromsgrove, Catshill, Reddtich & Studley
