Job summary

Probe UK Limited is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the night shift, ensuring preventive maintenance is carried out on top‑end equipment in a clean, well‑organised plant. The role requires handling breakdowns and coordinating with contractors to keep operations running smoothly.

You will be part of a stable maintenance department with a supportive culture and a focus on safety, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planned and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Experience in a supervisory or lead maintenance role with PM activity and contractors.
• City & Guilds or NVQ accreditation in Electrical or Mechanical discipline; apprentice trained.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift maintenance team to ensure PMs are completed to schedule.
• Manage breakdowns and support plant/equipment in manufacturing environments.
• Coordinate with contractors and mentor apprentices as part of the maintenance function.

Duties of a Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be required to lead the night shift maintenance team ensuring that PM s are undertaken to schedule whilst also managing breakdown situations, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a manufacturing, process or production environment.

Requirements of a Maintenance Supervisor

• You must have proven experience in undertaking planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment.
• And either currently hold a supervisory post or hold a lead maintenance role where you have had some exposure to managing PM activity, issuing permits, organising contractors and mentoring apprentices.
• Allied to holding either City & Guilds or NVQ accreditation within an Electrical or Mechanical discipline and be apprentice trained.

The Maintenance Supervisor role is commutable from Alvechurch, Bromsgrove, Catshill, Reddtich & Studley
