Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Hilden Park School in Tonbridge and Malling. You will lead a skilled maintenance team to keep the school building in good order and ensure it is a safe, welcoming environment for students.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, ability to supervise contractors, and a proactive approach to health and safety. You will liaise with the Regional Property Manager and support the Head Teacher to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a site in an educational or similar environment.
• Hands-on maintenance skills with ability to supervise contractors.
• Comfortable liaising with regional managers and school leadership.
• Willingness to start early (8am).

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and general repairs across the site.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed and conduct safety inspections.
• Coordinate with Regional Property Manager and Head Teacher as required.

Being a maintenance supervisor in our school means being part of something big. You'll be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people.

You'll supervise a skilled team to carry out maintenance and general repairs, together, you'll fix problems and keep school grounds neat and tidy. You'll make sure the school meets Health & Safety regulations, undertake safety inspections and keep up to date with any issues. As Supervisor, you'll liaise with the Regional Property Manager and support the Head Teacher at the school.

Hilden Park school is a purpose built, brand new, state of the art school, catering primarily for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's and Speech, Language and Communication needs.
