Job summary

Arthur Rose Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Maintenance Team Lead for a Wakefield-area site on days only. Salary £48,000 - £54,000. You will maintain existing plant, support the engineering team, and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

Role requires electrical/mechanical expertise, leadership of a small team, and experience in a 24/7 production environment with call-out availability.

Qualifications

• NVQ/ONC/HNC or equivalent required.
• Apprentice trained in electrical/engineering discipline.
• HV awareness qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing plant and assist with new installations on site.
• Support engineering team across sites and respond to breakdowns efficiently.
• Reduce downtime via regular PMs and improve on-site systems and docs.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and review safety systems.

Job description

We are working are working with a well established Heavy Industry/FMCG company based in the Wakefield area, They are looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to join them on a Days only basis

Salary: £48,000 - £54,000

Job Role:

• Maintaining excising plant and equipment and assisting with new installations on site.
• Supporting the wider engineering team across sites
• Respond to breakdowns efficiently in order to reduce machine downtime and increase production across site, minimising breakdowns through regular PPM's.
• Improving current systems on site including any technical documentation.
• Complying with all health & safety regulations and reviewing safety systems.

Job Requirements:

• Technical knowledge and capability to handle the Electrical and Mechanical engineering activities of their plant.
• Experience leading a small team of Engineers
• Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.
• 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Familiarity with Instrumentation and Process Controllers.
• Experience, preferably in a 24/7 Production Environment.
• Working on a Call Out basis when required.
