Job summary

Arthur Rose Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Maintenance Manager in the Wakefield area, working days only. Salary: 48,000 - 55,000 DOE. You will maintain existing plant and equipment, support the engineering team across sites, and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

The role requires electrical and mechanical expertise, experience leading engineers, and familiarity with instrumentation and process controllers. 18th edition wiring regs and HV awareness are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical plant engineering knowledge required.
• Experience leading a small team of Engineers.
• Apprentice trained in relevant electrical discipline.
• 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Familiarity with Instrumentation and Process Controllers.
• Experience in 24/7 production environments.
• Willingness to be on call when required.

Job description

We are working are working with a well established Heavy Industry/FMCG company based in the Wakefield area, They are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join them on a Days only basis

Salary: 48,000 - 55,000 DOE

Job Role:

• Maintaining excising plant and equipment and assisting with new installations on site.
• Supporting the wider engineering team across sites
• Respond to breakdowns efficiently in order to reduce machine downtime and increase production across site, minimising breakdowns through regular PPM's.
• Improving current systems on site including any technical documentation.
• Complying with all health & safety regulations and reviewing safety systems.

Job Requirements:

• Technical knowledge and capability to handle the Electrical and Mechanical engineering activities of their plant.
• Experience leading a small team of Engineers
• Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.
• 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Familiarity with Instrumentation and Process Controllers.
• Experience, preferably in a 24/7 Production Environment.
• Working on a Call Out basis when required.
