Job summary

Southway Housing Trust is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor in Manchester. The role offers a 35-hour week, competitive salary, contributory pension, health care plan and generous leave. You will manage maintenance operatives, ensure customer-focused service and drive improvements across estates.

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in a construction related discipline, have a driving licence and deliver organised, safe and effective maintenance services.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a recognised construction related discipline.
• Experience delivering a customer-focused service.
• Effective line management of work operatives.
• Demonstrable ability for personal organisation and effective working.
• A valid full manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operatives and day-to-day maintenance tasks.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and responsive repairs.
• Plan work schedules, allocate tasks and monitor progress.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with relevant regulations.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Property Services team for a Maintenance Supervisor position and for the right persons we offer a 35-hour week, competitive salary, excellent contributory pension scheme, access to a health care plan and 25 days holiday increasing to 30 days per year through length of service, in addition to the 8 public bank holidays.

Required

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a recognised construction related discipline.

• A valid full manual driving licence.
