Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of engineers on a large static site, delivering electrical, mechanical and building services, while ensuring compliance and safety standards.

You will coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, manage contractor performance, and report on KPIs, working closely with the client and stakeholders to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent) or Mechanical.
• Previous supervisory experience within FM/building services.
• Strong RAMS, permits to work and compliance knowledge.
• Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports.
• Good knowledge of HVAC and building services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance engineers and subcontractors.
• Ensure PPM and reactive works meet required standards.
• Review and manage RAMS and permits to work.
• Operate CAFM systems and maintain accurate records.

Maintenance Supervisor - FM Service Provider - Liverpool -Up to £46,500 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FM Supervisor to join a large Facilities Management provider in Liverpool. This role will be overseeing Engineers on a large static site in Liverpool. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of electrical, mechanical and general building services across the site. The role involves supervising a team of engineers, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, managing specialist contractors, and ensuring statutory compliance and health and safety standards are consistently maintained. You will also work closely with the client and key stakeholders to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the building.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 09:00am - 17:00pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate building maintenance engineers and specialist subcontractors
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are delivered to required standards
• Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
• Issue and control Permits to Work in line with site safety procedures
• Monitor and update CAFM systems, ensuring accurate maintenance records
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
• Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews
• Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to maintain high service levels
• Identify plant or system defects and coordinate remedial works
• Assist with quotations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations
• Support the Contract Manager with day-to-day contract delivery and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Electrical Qualification(City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent) or Mechanical
• Previous supervisory or lead experience within FM/building services
• Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, and compliance processes
• Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports
• Good knowledge of commercial building services (HVAC, electrical, etc.)
• Excellent customer service skills
