Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd in Leyland is recruiting a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead a high-speed packaging engineering team. You will oversee preventative maintenance, drive machine efficiency and ensure tasks meet the highest standards on a day-to-day basis.

You will manage a skilled team of around 40 multiskilled engineers, monitor KPI performance and utilise the SAP PPM system to plan and report on maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained engineer with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience in FMCG production and high-speed packaging lines.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift engineering management team and oversee maintenance activities.
• Drive machine efficiencies and ensure work meets the highest standards.
• Monitor day-to-day KPIs and manage preventative maintenance tasks.
• Utilise SAP PPM to plan, schedule, and report maintenance activities.

Salary: £57,865 + Pension + Bens

The Role

Due to further expansion, my client is looking to recruit into its shift engineering management team; you will be involved in engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on a number of fast moving packaging lines. The ideal candidate will come from a supervisory/manufacturing background and be able to work on preventative maintenance tasks. You may have a mechanical or electrical background with hands on experience from within a high speed automated factory environment.

On a day to day basis you will menage a skilled team of 40 multiskilled engineers you will have strong people management skills and whilst monitoring day to day KPI`s working with a SAP PPM system.
