Job summary

Lily Shippen is recruiting on behalf of a Leeds-based Building Management Systems company for a proactive Maintenance Coordinator. The role focuses on coordinating maintenance engineers, scheduling planned preventive maintenance and ensuring customer requirements are met.

Applicants with experience in facilities management, BMS, building services or engineering are welcome, though strong coordination skills and a willingness to learn are highly valued in this busy, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance coordination, administration, scheduling or a similar role would be advantageous
• Experience within facilities management, BMS, building services, construction or engineering would be beneficial but is not essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs, priorities and deadlines
• Confident coordinating engineers, scheduling appointments and liaising with customers
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable manner
• Strong attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience using Construction Manager would be advantageous but is not essential
• Proactive, reliable and confident taking ownership of tasks and following actions through to completion
• Comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the business
