Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team in East Grinstead. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance on plumbing and mechanical systems and respond to reactive maintenance requests.

You will maintain water services, sanitaryware, pipework, valves and pumps, and undertake routine inspections to ensure safe operation. The role requires NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and proven experience in building maintenance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Previous experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Experience working on commercial building services.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently.
• Maintain hot and cold water services, sanitaryware, pipework, valves, pumps, and associated plumbing systems.
• Undertake routine inspections and ensure plant and equipment are operating safely and effectively.
• Carry out minor mechanical maintenance where required.
