Job summary

Edsential Community Interest Company seeks a skilled Plumber to join our maintenance team in Wales. You will perform reactive and planned plumbing maintenance across buildings, diagnose faults, and repair sanitary fixtures while ensuring safe isolation and health and safety compliance.

You will develop PPM schedules, document activities, and contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance practices. A Level 2 plumbing qualification and proven experience are required, with a focus on

Qualifications

Holds a recognised plumbing qualification at Level 2 or above.
Experienced in diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults independently.
Knowledgeable on safe isolation and health and safety requirements relevant to plumbing and water systems.
Demonstrates excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct reactive and planned preventative plumbing maintenance (PPM) across buildings and water systems.
Diagnose plumbing faults and perform repairs to minimise disruption to site operations.
Maintain and repair sanitary fixtures and fittings, including taps, toilets, showers, and associated pipework.
Develop and deliver plumbing schedules, prioritising work and material requirements.
Support water hygiene and Legionella control arrangements where trained.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using designated systems.
