Job summary

NHS Property Services Ltd is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to support building services maintenance and repairs across NHS sites, ensuring high standards and a safe environment for visitors, patients and staff.

You will assist with scheduled, reactive and remedial maintenance, undertake routine repairs including joinery, painting and general plumbing, and support minor capital works and project activities while maintaining accurate site log books and safety records.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs is preferred.
• Ability to undertake routine repairs and minor works.
• Willingness to complete risk assessments and maintain site records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled, reactive and remedial maintenance as directed by the planner or supervisor.
• Support the Projects/Construction team and Team Leader in delivering minor capital works.
• Maintain effective site log books and complete risk assessments prior to undertakings.
