Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited in York is seeking an experienced Plumber to join a static site maintenance team. You will perform planned and reactive plumbing tasks on a single site, with regular hours, optional overtime, and no on-call requirement.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or City & Guilds, with L8 qualification desirable. You will work independently to maintain water systems, diagnose leaks, clear blockages and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or City & Guilds Plumbing required.
• L8 qualification would be highly desirable.
• Experience in building maintenance or similar plumbing maintenance role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across the site.
• Routine water system flushing in line with compliance.
• Check and record hot and cold water outlet temperatures.
• Diagnose and repair leaks and clear blockages.
• Perform general plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to join a static site maintenance team based in York. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable, site-based role with regular hours, optional overtime, and no on-call requirement.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive plumbing maintenance tasks across the site, including:

• Routine water system flushing in line with compliance requirements
• Checking and recording hot and cold water outlet temperatures
• Diagnosing and repairing leaks
• Clearing blockages
• General plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or City & Guilds Plumbing qualification (essential)
• L8 qualification would be highly desirable
• Previous experience in building maintenance or a similar plumbing maintenance role
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day maintenance tasks

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £32,000 per annum
