Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking a highly skilled Static Plumber to join our facilities team. The role covers reactive and planned preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations across our sites.

Key tasks include installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing, responding to emergencies, and conducting regular system inspections. Strong NVQ in Plumbing and knowledge of HVAC are essential, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Essential: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
• Desirable: City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC certifications, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role, ideally in commercial/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, mechanical maintenance, HVAC and building fabric maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to manage workload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and drainage systems.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies such as leaks, clogs, and burst pipes.
• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify potential issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on water heaters, boilers, and other plumbing-related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing systems and components.
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance on building fabric, including walls, ceilings, and floors.

We are seeking a highly skilled Static Plumber with a strong background in plumbing, mechanical maintenance, HVAC, and Fabric Maintenance. This dynamic role involves a variety of tasks including reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary of 37,000 per annum.
• Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
• On-call rota with a standby payment of 150.

Key Responsibilities:
