Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions in Worcester is seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join a national facilities management organisation in healthcare. You will diagnose, repair and maintain plumbing systems to uphold reliability and client satisfaction.

The role is site-based in Worcester, Monday to Friday (40 hours), with an on-call rota to be confirmed. NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating is required, along with a solid facilities management plumbing background; full CV preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Proven track record as a Maintenance Plumber or similar role within facilities management.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures and materials; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, clogs and issues and rectify them promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults such as leaks, blockages and damaged pipes.
• Install, replace and upgrade plumbing fixtures to industry standards.
• Coordinate repairs with maintenance staff and external contractors.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe work environment.

Site based Maintenance Plumber - Worcester - National Facilities Management Organisation: Healthcare

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber who has a solid background in plumbing maintenance within the facilities management industry to join a leading national facilities management organisation within the healthcare sector. Your role will involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures to uphold optimal functionality and exceed client expectations. We have two positions available: This is a site based opportunity located in Worcester.

Package

• Competitive salary up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify leaks, clogs, and other issues promptly
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to proactively address potential breakdowns and extend the lifespan of plumbing equipment
• Utilise your expertise to diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, including leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes
• Conduct installations, replacements, and upgrades of plumbing fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate closely with other maintenance personnel and external contractors to coordinate repairs and renovations seamlessly
• Uphold stringent safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment for all

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
• Proven track record as a Maintenance Plumber or similar role within the facilities management sector
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials, coupled with strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
