CSC Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Plumbing for a London-based, permanent full-time role. You will work across commercial plumbing and water systems, performing PPM, reactive fixes, and minor installations on-site across several client sites.

The role emphasizes accurate reporting via CAFM systems, compliance, and strong customer-facing skills to maintain professional relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
3+ years' commercial building services/maintenance experience.
Experience with domestic hot/cold-water systems, pumps, booster sets and TMVs.
Knowledge of water regulations and Legionella awareness.

Responsibilities

Carry out PPM, reactive repairs, compliance checks and minor installations.
Work across commercial plumbing and water systems and report via CAFM/mobile workforce system.
Maintain professional, customer-facing communication with clients and contractors.

Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Plumbing

London | Permanent | Full-Time

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Plumbing to join an established and highly regarded building services contractor, working across a portfolio of commercial and high-profile sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified plumber with strong commercial maintenance experience who is looking for a varied mobile role, working across planned and reactive maintenance, water systems and general building services.

The Role

As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out PPM, reactive repairs, compliance checks and minor installation works across a range of client sites.
You’ll be working on a variety of commercial plumbing and water systems, including:
- Domestic hot and cold-water systems
- Booster sets and pumps
- Pressurisation units
- Expansion vessels
- Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
- Drainage systems
- Water hygiene and Legionella control
- Minor plumbing installations and remedial works
You’ll also be expected to carry out accurate reporting through a CAFM/mobile workforce system, ensuring jobs, compliance records and site reports are kept up to date.
The role is customer-facing, so strong communication skills and a professional approach are important. You’ll be dealing directly with clients, colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers across the portfolio.

What We're Looking For

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or an equivalent qualification
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
3+ years' commercial building services/maintenance experience
Strong experience with commercial plumbing and hot water systems
Experience working with pumps, booster sets, pressurisation units and expansion vessels
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Knowledge of water regulations and plumbing standards
Water hygiene and Legionella awareness
Experience using CAFM systems or mobile workforce technology
Experience working to RAMS and Permit to Work procedures
Strong customer-facing and communication skills

Additional qualifications such as TMV servicing, L8 Responsible Person, IOSH, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness or Working at Height would be advantageous.
