Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Building Services Engineer with a plumbing bias to join a growing commercial building services team. You will deliver planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across a varied mobile portfolio.

Based in Hemel Hempstead with coverage across Southwest and Central London, the role offers a negotiable salary, company vehicle or allowance, and opportunities for ongoing training and development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Proven experience in commercial building services maintenance.
• Strong plumbing fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience working on hot and cold-water systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Attend reactive maintenance and breakdown calls.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to plumbing and associated plant equipment.
• Maintain hot and cold-water systems.
• Service and repair pumps, valves, pipework, expansion vessels and drainage systems.
• Undertake minor installation and refurbishment works.
• Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors and colleagues.

We're seeking a Building Services Engineer with a strong plumbing background to join our team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing and mechanical systems.
