Job summary

Nova Artes Engineering in Manchester is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Plumber to join our facilities team. You will perform plumbing maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across commercial sites in Manchester and surrounding areas, working independently with strong safety and compliance standards.

The role requires NVQ L2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent, G3 Unvented Cylinders, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent trade qualification.
• G3 Unvented Cylinders
• Proven mobile/facilities maintenance plumbing experience.
• Health & safety knowledge for regulated environments.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing tasks across multiple commercial sites.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults such as leaks, blockages, valve replacements, and pipework issues.
• Complete minor plumbing installations where required.
• Ensure compliance with current health and safety regulations and site security requirements.
• Accurately complete job reports and documentation using company systems.
• Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and the internal scheduling team.
• Participate in an on-call rota (if applicable).

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile Maintenance Plumber to join our facilities management team. Based in Manchester and surrounding, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across a range of commercial sites. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
