Heidelberg Materials UK is hiring a Mechanical Craftsperson at Ketton Cement Works. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and support plant reliability for heavy industrial equipment. The role emphasizes safety, environment, and continuous improvement within a leading cement operations team.
Applicants should have a mechanical maintenance background in heavy industry and be proficient with pumps, valves, piping, and CMMS/SAP. SAP experience is preferred.

Competitive Salary Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, this role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of plant equipment through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. As a Mechanical Craftsperson you will play a key role in supporting Heidelberg Materials' Maintenance Improvement Plan (MIP) by carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance across the site. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will help maximise plant reliability while ensuring the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical engineer to work on a wide range of heavy industrial equipment, playing a key role in improving plant reliability, safety, and operational performance.
