Job summary

Apleona Hsg S.P.A. is recruiting a Maintenance Operative / Handyperson for our Atherstone site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, ensure the fabric of the building is sound including plumbing and basic electrical tasks, and you may travel to other client sites to support the team.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 15:30pm (flexibility required). This is a six‑month fixed term contract with a salary up to £35,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license
• Basic knowledge of handyperson duties such as electrical, plumbing
• Strong communication skills
• Physical ability to move and carry heavy furniture
• Experience in a similar role
• Motivated and able to work to a high standard
• Able to quickly diagnose faults
• Great time keeping
• Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fabric of the building including plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance at client premises.
• Travel to other sites to support the team.
• Ensure health and safety is at the forefront of all activities.
