Job summary

Apleona Hsg S.P.A. is recruiting a Maintenance Operative / Handyperson for our Atherstone site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, ensure the fabric of the building is sound including plumbing and basic electrical tasks, and you may travel to other client sites to support the team.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 15:30pm (flexibility required). This is a six‑month fixed term contract with a salary up to £35,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license
• Basic knowledge of handyperson duties such as electrical, plumbing
• Strong communication skills
• Physical ability to move and carry heavy furniture
• Experience in a similar role
• Motivated and able to work to a high standard
• Able to quickly diagnose faults
• Great time keeping
• Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fabric of the building including plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance at client premises.
• Travel to other sites to support the team.
• Ensure health and safety is at the forefront of all activities.

  Maintenance Operative / Handyperson

  We’re currently looking to recruit aMaintenance Operativewho will undertake both planned and reactive maintenance at our client premises and ensure health and safety is at the forefront of all that you do.

  In this role, you will maintain the fabric of the building including, plumbing, electrical, undertaking general repairs. You will also be willing to travel to other sites to pitch in with a variety of tasks linked to your job to support your manager, your team and our client.

  As an Apleona Maintenance Operative / Handyperson, we’re looking for:

  In return we’ll provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job and be part of the team. You will work the above hours and be paid an annual salary of up to £35,000 with access to the following Apleona employee benefits.
