Job summary

PRS is recruiting a Fabric Maintenance Operative / Handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on an estate in the Harrogate area. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week, days; basic salary circa £30,000.

You will complete reactive repairs and planned maintenance, carry out basic lighting and plumbing tasks, joinery, painting and plastering, and conduct compliance checks to ensure buildings remain safe and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Several years of prior experience, including in a similar role.
• Willing and able to pass security checks.
• Essential: self-motivated and proactive.
• Experience of fabric maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete reactive repairs, planned maintenance.
• Basic lighting tasks.
• Basic plumbing tasks.
• Fabric maintenance duties – basic joinery, painting, plastering etc.

We are recruiting for a Fabric Maintenance Operative / Handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on an estate in the Harrogate area. The handyperson will be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance to the buildings. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week days. Some flexibility with start and finish times.

Handyperson Description:

• Complete reactive repairs, planned maintenance
• Basic lighting tasks
• Basic plumbing tasks
• Fabric maintenance duties – basic joinery, painting, plastering etc.
• Compliance checks
• Handyperson duties

Handyperson requirements:

• Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills
• Willing and able to pass security checks
• It is essential the candidate is self‑motivated
• Experience of fabric maintenance tasks
