The NHS is looking for a Maintenance Operative-Fabric to deliver building services maintenance across various sites in South West London. The role requires ensuring compliance with health and safety policies while undertaking repairs and maintenance tasks. The key function is to support NHS Property Services in delivering building services maintenance and repairs across the NHS to ensure buildings are maintained to the highest standards and to provide a safe and secure environment for visitors, customers, and employees.
Ensure compliance in line with all processes/procedures and policies that meet organisational standards/requirements, including but not limited to our Health & Safety Policy/HTMs (Health Technical Memoranda) and SFG20. Undertake routine planned and reactive maintenance services as instructed by the Team Leader, ensuring that operational standards are maintained at all times. Support work included in minor works. Undertake routine repairs or minor works including joinery, painting and decoration, general building works, ground works, or general plumbing. Maintain effective site log books at all NHS premises, ensuring they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Operative-Fabric based in Mitcham - Wilson Hospital. The salary starts from £28,000 (depending on experience) plus on-call allowance. This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm. The role covers South West London. Requirements include:
