A leading company in healthcare property management is seeking a Maintenance Operative-Fabric to support building maintenance and repairs. This full-time role in South West London offers competitive salary and benefits, including training and company van. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and experience in building maintenance.
The key function is to support NHS Property Services in delivering building services maintenance and repairs across the NHS to ensure buildings are maintained to the highest standards and to provide a safe and secure environment for visitors, customers, and employees.
Ensure compliance with all processes, procedures, and policies that meet organisational standards, including but not limited to our Health & Safety Policy, HTMs (Health Technical Memoranda), and SFG20. Undertake routine planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Team Leader, supporting minor works. Perform routine repairs or minor works such as joinery, painting, decoration, general building works, ground works, or plumbing. Maintain effective site log books at all NHS premises, ensuring they are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Operative-Fabric based at Mitcham - Wilson Hospital. The role offers a starting salary from £28,000 depending on experience, plus on-call allowance. It is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The role is mobile, covering South West London.
