Job summary

TXM Recruit is actively recruiting a Mobile Maintenance Operative to support one of the UK’s leading facilities companies on a range of commercial contracts. The role runs Monday to Friday with 40 hours per week and door-to-door pay.

On call rotation is 1 in 4 weeks for emergencies only, located in South West London. The position offers a competitive salary of £34,271 per year, overtime opportunities, a company van with personal use from day one, a robust benefits package including life

Qualifications

• General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
• This role may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats, hanging doors or fixing shelves.
• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Building inspections including roof walks and building checks to exterior.

Responsibilities

• General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
• This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves.
• Patch plaster, rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Building inspections including roof walks and building checks to exterior
• Cark Park checks - drain covers, trolley shelters, bollards
• Daily duties to update the tablet, reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails.

TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a mobile Maintenance Operative to work for one of the UKs leading facilities companies on a plethora of their commercial contracts.

Schedule - Monday to Friday

Working hours - 40 hours flexible (Door to Door pay)

On Call - 1 in 4 weeks on call. - This is for emergencies only.

Salary - £34,271/yr.

Location - South West London

Extra - Overtime available

As a Maintenance Operative yourdutieswill be but not limited to

• General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.


• This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster. rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.


• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).


• Building inspections including roof walks and building checks to exterior


• Cark Park checks - drain covers, trolley shelters, bollards


• There will be daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, this may be reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.

Requirements:

• NVQ in a trade would be IDEAL and is Desirable


• Full UK driving license
