Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited is seeking a Maintenance Operative for Albany Care Home in Headington, Oxford. You will lead the maintenance team, oversee upkeep including painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing/electrical work, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

The role offers a stable schedule, 37.5 hours weekly (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm, includes alternate weekends), and an hourly rate of £14.75.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in gardening, decorating, plumbing and electrical work is essential.
• Will lead a maintenance team and ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the upkeep of the home including painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing and electrical work.
• Ensuring residents remain safe and comfortable by adhering to health and safety practices at all times.

Albany Care Home, Headington

£14.75 per hour

37.5 hours per week (includes alternate weekends) 8am to 4pm - Mon to Fri

What would a typical day look like?

• Overseeing the upkeep of our home including painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing and electrical work
• Ensuring our residents remain safe and comfortable by adhering to good health and safety practices at all times

Previous experience within gardening, decorating, plumbing and electrical work is essential and we can provide you with a thorough induction and training programme to further develop your skills along with the support and guidance of a well-established team who truly value their colleagues.
