Location: Scape, London

As a Maintenance Operative, your main responsibilities would be:

• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work (carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, electrical, guttering, decorating, plastering, kitchen and bathroom maintenance, and more)
• Fault finding and leak investigations
• Perform repairs and additional work arising from examinations and investigations
• Comply with Health and Safety processes and responsibilities
• Complete reports and paperwork as required
• Oversee and work alongside the maintenance team and the work carried out on your site
• Stock-taking (where appropriate) and record stock levels
• Keep plant rooms and maintenance areas tidy; report and resolve faulty equipment in liaison with your Maintenance Manager
• Control and direct specialist sub-contractors during site visits
• Replace light switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures
• Handle emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
• Participate in the structured on-call system within the UK
• Manage keys and locks within the site
• Undertake painting duties where applicable
