Please note, this is a bank (zero-hour) contract.

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are ideally preferred. Communication skills should be considerate and kind, especially when interacting with residents and co-workers.

The role involves ensuring our Residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining accurate records, and performing maintenance tasks such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always with kindness as a priority.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
