Responsibilities

• Provide proactive maintenance support across designated sites to minimize downtime
• Promote a culture of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibility
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and support long-term improvements
• Maintain critical spare parts and update work on the CMMS system
• Complete PPM tasks and follow up on remedial work
• Collaborate with the team on plant maintenance and condition monitoring
• Share learnings and attend training to ensure compliance

Candidate Profile

• Driving license required; van provided for site travel
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent
• Extensive experience in heavy engineering and mobile plant maintenance, including earth-moving equipment
• Skilled in fault-finding and repairing excavators, shovels, forklifts, and cranes
• Strong background in mobile plant fitting; hydraulic systems expertise preferred
• Electrical diagnostics skills desirable
• Understanding of plant operation, maintenance practices, and electrical safety
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification preferred
• Ability to work independently and travel between sites; own tools highly desirable
