Border Plains Equipment, an employee-owned, certified Case IH dealer in Glasgow, MT, is looking for a top-notch individual to perform quality maintenance and repairs on all types of agricultural equipment. A great candidate is one who likes to problem-solve, is a continuous learner, and has a dedicated work ethic.

Service Technician Team Contribution:

1. Responsible for maintenance, repair, and reconditioning of farm equipment
2. Comply with all safety regulations and rules
3. Be quality and customer service oriented
4. Promote team values through effective interaction with team members

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years experience as a technician in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment
2. Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
3. Good people skills, communication, time management, and organizational skills

Requirements for Service Technicians:

1. Troubleshoot, analyze, and perform mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment
2. Track details and prepare reports/forms in conjunction with assigned work orders
3. Follow all necessary schedules and requirements for completion of tasks
4. Use electronic diagnostic tools, electronic parts catalogs, and other sources of information

Physical Requirements:

1. Physical mobility including being able to lift up to 60 pounds unaided
2. Ability to stand for long periods
3. Manage different environmental smells
