Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activity across the Bromsgrove hotel. You will oversee day-to-day repairs, long-term projects and ensure the property remains safe, compliant and fully operational for guests and colleagues alike.

You’ll manage the maintenance team and contractors, deliver preventative maintenance programmes, monitor budgets and records, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high standards and asset value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge across general maintenance disciplines.
• Solid understanding of health, safety and compliance regulations.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors and maintenance programmes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the hotel is safe, functional and well maintained across all guest and back-of-house areas.
• Lead the maintenance team, providing clear direction, support and development.
• Plan and deliver preventative maintenance programmes and reactive repairs.
• Manage maintenance projects, repairs and refurbishments with minimal disruption to guests.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure standards, safety and compliance requirements are met.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Life Safety and statutory regulations.
• Manage contractor relationships to ensure quality, cost control and compliance.
• Oversee budgets, costs and maintenance activity to deliver value for money.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, compliance checks and equipment performance.
