Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our Property Services Team in Greenham, Thatcham. You will lead a team of 12+ trades and external contractors to deliver responsive repairs and property maintenance across Berkshire, with a focus on safety, quality and value for money.

You will set direction, manage budgets and data in our property systems, engage residents to shape co-created services, and ensure compliance with health and safety CDM requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a direct labour workforce focused teams for the delivery of maintenance services.
• Planning delivery of workstreams in a customer focussed environment.
• Plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets.
• Operate with commercial acumen.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation with focus on CDM.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office with Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering the right outcome for our customer in a safe and timely way through a team of trades operatives.
• Maintaining high quality data within the property systems.
• Setting and maintaining high levels of safe working practices in line with Health and Safety legislation and CDM.
• Ensuring a detailed local knowledge of customer, asset and investment needs across your locality.
• Engaging and working with residents and groups to develop co-created services.
