Staffbase Recruitment Ltd is assisting a large manufacturing group near Merton to recruit a Maintenance Manager. The role oversees maintenance activities, CAPEX projects and hands-on electrical/mechanical support across a heavy industry plant.
You will lead a small team and external contractors, optimise the CMMS, control budgets, plan maintenance and ensure HSE compliance. A recognised electrical engineering qualification and IOSH/NEBOSH training are desirable, with PLC knowledge.
Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Manager.
We are seeking an experienced electrical bias maintenance engineer to manage & control all maintenance and CAP-ex project activities at a large heavy industry processing plant near Merton.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all planned & reactive maintenance activities and some CAPEX project work.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
You will be an experienced electrical maintenance supervisor / manager with previous experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector e.g. chemical plants, plastics, metals, quarry or recycling.
You will have at least 5 years management /supervisory experience and you must me confident in leading a small team of engineers and external contractors.
You will hold recognised electrical engineering qualification and ideally you will be trained in health & safety management to IOSH or NEBOSH level.
You will have a recognised qualification in electrical engineering e.g. HNC, degree or 18th edition certification and you will have good knowledge and understanding of plc systems.
We are seeking a highly organised and effective leader who will maintain a visible presence around the plant.

Excellent basic salary Negotiable upto £70K + Bonus OTE £75K -£80K
