Location: Site-based, LN4 1NJ, Branston, Lincoln

Salary: £59,280k (DOE)

Hours: Monday-Friday 06:00-15:00

Join our dynamic team at Branston Ltd, a leader in the manufacturing industry dedicated to delivering excellence in production.

We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering team at our Lincoln Fresh Factory, ensuring a strong focus on Health and Safety, fostering a positive team culture, and meeting production targets. If you have experience managing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possess a keen eye for optimizing processes and budgets, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership and Health & Safety: Lead and motivate a team to promote Health and Safety standards and cultivate a positive team attitude. Act as the primary point of contact for the Engineering department.
  2. Collaboration and Reporting: Report directly to the Engineering Manager, collaborating cross-functionally on-site. Work closely with the Engineering Manager to schedule preventive maintenance and enhance manufacturing infrastructure efficiency.
  3. Team Development: Develop and train engineering teams across shifts. Implement lean and continuous improvement techniques to achieve cost savings and improve work processes.
  4. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all standards and procedures are in place and regularly updated to govern safe working practices, including good GMP practices.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record of leading a diverse engineering team within FMCG.
  • Experience managing an engineering budget to comply with set budgets.
  • Experience with CCMS systems.
  • IOSH certification; NEBOSH preferable.
  • Good communication skills at all staff levels.
  • Experience contributing to a multifunctional management team.
  • Experience in report writing, including RCA reports.
  • Qualified at a high level in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role.
