Overview

Maintenance Engineer - Swindon, Wiltshire

£48,000 - £50,000

Monday - Friday Double Days

Our client is a leading manufacturer investing in the factory and growth into various export markets. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Planned Maintenance inspections and review of parts used
  • Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on range of equipment
  • Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery
  • Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments
  • Report on plant performance using systems; ensure action on non-conformance issues
  • Work on boilers, steam boilers, ammonia equipment, valves and pumps
  • Support production and continuous improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Formal engineering qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or Apprenticeship trained
  • Continuous improvement knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
  • Experience in food, packaging, drink, and manufacturing environments
