Job summary

Damicor is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join an international organization based in the Swindon area. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, with duties spanning electrical and mechanical systems, fault finding and testing.

The role is days only with a 40‑hour week and a salary in the £40,000–£41,000 range plus package. Commutable from Swindon, this position offers training and strong progression opportunities, and excludes night shifts, making it

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
• Electrical engineering including single and 3‑phase motors, inverters and control panels.
• Testing and fault finding on electrical/mechanical systems.
• Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, chains and valves.
• Open to diverse technical/industrial backgrounds (marine, army, navy, etc.).
• Good health & safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Carry out fault finding and testing to diagnose issues.
• Engage with electrical and mechanical systems including motors, inverters and control panels.
