Probe UK is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a UK manufacturing plant. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical disciplines to keep production running at its best.
This role requires 12-hour shifts (days and nights), SCADA/PLC fault finding knowledge, and a time-served apprenticeship or NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds. Benefits include pension sacrifices, 25 days leave, Medicash, life cover, enhanced parental pay.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a global business at one of the UK manufacturing plants producing some of the UK's most loved food products. Engineers are the heartbeat of everything we do.
The plants are complex, fast-moving environments where no two shifts are ever the same. You'll be working across mechanical and electrical disciplines, responding to both planned and unplanned maintenance, driving continuous improvement, and playing a real part in keeping production running at its best.
You must be flexible to work 12-hour shifts of days and nights.
Along with a minimum NVQ Level 2/3, BTEC Level 3, or City & Guilds Part 3 in a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical or Mechanical. A time-served apprenticeship is very desirable. Knowledge of SCADA systems and PLC fault finding would be beneficial also.
The role of Maintenance Engineer is commutable from Peterborough, Whittlesey, Wisbech, Chatteris and Huntingdon.
Please Note: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
