Qualifications

  • NVQ3 / HNC in Electrical Maintenance or relevant degree required.
  • Supervisory experience in a maintenance environment preferred.
  • Experience with PLC fault finding and medium/low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with contractors for site visits.
  • Maintain equipment during planned and unplanned outages.
  • Analyze breakdowns to prevent recurrence.
  • Undertake projects for equipment improvement and modification.

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2025 they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Technical team.

Role & Responsibilities
  • To liaise with contractors and arrange for site visits to ensure that work is carried out to expected standard.
  • Carry out maintenance on equipment during non-planned and planned maintenance shuts in a timely manner
  • Analysis of breakdowns to determine root cause and prevent re-occurrence.
  • Undertake projects of improvement, extension or modification of equipment in order to optimise efficiency, reliability and safety.
  • Carry out maintenance on all equipment across the site including conveyors, pumps, cranes, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
  • Working at height and be part of the rescue at height team (Full training and PPE will be provided)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • NVQ3 / HNC In Electrical Maintenance or relevant degree
  • Supervisory / Team lead experience within a maintenance environment
