Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor (Electrical Bias) in Nottingham. You will lead a team of 8 maintenance engineers, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and drive improvements to maximise plant uptime.

You will provide hands-on electrical fault finding and support, working to Safety and CMMS standards. You will collaborate with operations to optimise production, manage contractors, and participate in training and appraisals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 8 maintenance engineers.
• Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown activities.
• Ensure maximum plant availability and equipment reliability.
• Provide hands-on electrical fault finding and technical support.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with site Health & Safety procedures.
• Monitor engineering KPIs and maintenance performance.
• Manage contractors and specialist service providers on site.
• Support project work, installations, and equipment upgrades.
• Work closely with operations to optimise production performance.
• Conduct regular team meetings, appraisals, and training activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records through the CMMS system.
