Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Monmouth is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance team at a busy production site. You will plan preventive maintenance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Working Monday to Friday, days, you will manage budgets, implement CMMS, and coordinate with production and quality teams. The role offers £60,000–£65,000 per year plus an annual bonus and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and project management.
• Experience with CMMS and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering department across a fast-paced production site.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment and process performance.
• Develop and implement capital projects, including equipment installation and upgrades.
• Ensure that all engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Work closely with other departments, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and manage the engineering department budget, including capital expenditures and expenses.
• Implement and maintain the site's CMMS.
• Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the food production site.
