Job summary

Bournemouth Water Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Resources & Production team. You will provide hands-on expertise across water treatment and production sites, planning and delivering maintenance across mechanical, electrical and ICA assets.

You may work across locations in the South West region with occasional travel and periods away from home. You will diagnose faults, review risk assessments, and mentor junior staff while helping to improve asset reliability and

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical or ICA equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver maintenance programmes across mechanical, electrical and ICA assets.
• Provide hands-on maintenance support where needed.
• Diagnose faults and identify root causes; own resolutions.
• Prepare risk assessments, method statements and work procedures.
• Mentor new team members and apprentices.
• Improve asset reliability using Lean RCMS concepts (RCM).
• Support urgent reviews of Water Treatment Works as needed.
