Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) in Stoke-on-Trent. The role offers a salary of £42,000–£45,000 per year and involves reactive and preventative maintenance across a range of equipment including pressure vessels, furnaces, granulators and other manufacturing machinery.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship in engineering, 2+ years of manufacturing experience, and knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic

Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Bias

Stoke-on-Trent

Week 1: Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:10 | Friday 06:00 – 13:00

Week 2: Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:10 | Friday 13:00 – 20:00

1 in 8 week rotation – Sun – Thurs 10pm – 6am

Due to ongoing expansion, Hunter are working with a long standing manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent to hire their next Maintenance Engineer. In this position you will be responsible for all reactive and preventative maintenance as well as supporting ongoing projects. You will work on a host of equipment including pressure vessels, furnaces, granulators / crushers and other associated manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

• Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3 qualifications in Engineering
• 2+ years experience withing a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to understand engineering drawings
